The Florida Aquarium has announced plans to build an expansion that will add more space and exhibits. Construction is expected to begin early next year and last until summer 2025. Some of the exhibits will be temporary until the construction is complete. The expansion will cost more than $8 million, but the aquarium says it will cover the cost through private donations, public funding, and its reserves. More details will be announced soon.
